FOREACH inline filters and check valves provide particle filtration and flow-direction control in IVD, life science, laboratory automation and analytical instruments. They serve reagent delivery, washing, circulation and drainage lines. Filters capture particulate contamination; check valves, also called non-return valves, prevent reverse flow. The two product types can be used separately or together according to the required function. Different filter designs, valve mechanisms and connection sizes support internal flexible tubing and water-circulation systems wherever filtration or backflow prevention is needed.
The filter range includes F-PE and F-PA inline filters and F-SS water-circulation filters, using HDPE media, PA media and stainless steel mesh, respectively, with model-specific housings and connections. Some inline filters fit 2.4 and 3.2 mm ID tubing. Water-circulation options include models for 12.7 mm ID tubing and assemblies with 3/8-18 NPT female threads that can accept matching barbed fittings or quick-connect fittings. Check valves include diaphragm and duckbill designs for tubing IDs of 1.6, 2.4, 3.2, 4.8, 6.4, 7.9 and 9.5 mm. Housing materials include PP and PVDF, and elastomeric seals include EPDM and FKM; FFKM is also available on selected diaphragm check valves. Select connection sizes and materials for the actual fluid path.
HDPE-media models offer filtration ratings of 10 μm, 40–60 μm and 80–100 μm; PA-media models are rated at 250 μm and stainless steel mesh water-circulation models at 150 μm. Select filters according to particle size, required flow and allowable differential pressure. Select check valves according to cracking pressure, forward flow, reverse sealing and pressure requirements; cracking pressure is the differential pressure needed to begin forward flow. Follow the marked flow direction and provide access for filter inspection and replacement. Filter media, housings, diaphragms or duckbill seals and tubing must all suit the process fluid, cleaning fluid and working temperature. Combine filters and check valves according to actual flow, pressure and maintenance requirements.
