ABD Air Bubble Detection Module
The ABD Air Bubble Detection Module detects air bubbles, droplets, and gas-liquid states in transparent tubing. It uses non-contact infrared detection to identify tubing conditions from the difference in infrared energy between gas and liquid, without direct contact with the fluid, helping avoid additional contamination and flow resistance. The module is designed for fluidic-status monitoring in IVD, life science, laboratory automation, environmental monitoring, and food-testing equipment. It can be used for air-bubble alarms, droplet identification, reagent-line status monitoring, and equipment fault protection. Configurations cover common transparent tubing ODs from 1.6 mm to 6.4 mm; select the applicable configuration according to the tubing diameter.
Typical Applications:
Air-bubble alarms, Droplet detection, Transparent-tubing status monitoring, Reagent-line status monitoring, Fluidic anomaly protection, Tubing-path monitoring in automated instruments

Frequently Asked Questions
It does not contact the fluid directly. The module clamps the transparent tubing for detection, helping reduce contamination risk and additional flow resistance in the fluidic path.
