Clear FEP Tubing for Reagent Lines, 0.3–2.0 mm ID, 1.6–3.2 mm OD
FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) tubing, also known as F46 tubing, offers good chemical resistance. Clear tubing allows liquids and bubbles to be observed and is commonly used in reagent, sample and wash-fluid lines where visual inspection of the fluid is needed. Compared with PTFE, FEP generally offers greater optical clarity. Compare gas permeability for the target gas under matched conditions, including wall thickness and temperature.
Inner diameters range from 0.3–2.0 mm and outer diameters from 1.6–3.2 mm, with ID/OD combinations matched to the listed sizes. Tubing is available by the roll or as flanged, retaining-ring or ferrule tubing assemblies. Ferrule connections do not require pre-flanging. Connection configurations for tubing ODs of 1.6, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.2 mm can be matched to the selected size, with tubing length and fittings at ends A and B customized to drawings.
