Foreach polyether ether ketone (PEEK) tubing product photograph

FOREACH PEEK Polyether ether ketone tubing, ID options 0.2 / 0.8 mm

FOREACH polyether ether ketone (PEEK) tubing provides small-bore options for analytical instrument connections. Compare the listed models around the fluid, target flow, line length and fitting requirements.

The current catalogue contains two ID × OD combinations: 0.2 × 0.8 mm and 0.8 × 1.6 mm, each with its own model and product code. Select one of these actual combinations rather than mixing the listed IDs and ODs independently.

For small-bore paths, review pressure drop, internal volume, solvent compatibility and routing. High-pressure applications require operating data for the selected tubing size; a fitting pressure rating is not a tubing pressure rating.

Typical Applications:

Small-bore analytical instrument connections, Material evaluation for sample and reagent paths, Evaluation for fluid connections requiring polymer tubing

Model:Select a Size

Tubing Selection and Connections

Selection Considerations

Two listed ID × OD combinations

Evaluate pressure drop and internal volume for small-bore paths

Confirm pressure and solvent conditions by specification

Application Evaluation

Small-bore analytical instrument connections

Material evaluation for sample and reagent paths

Evaluation for fluid connections requiring polymer tubing

Fitting Compatibility

Match 0.8 mm and 1.6 mm OD tubing to the specified fitting or sleeve. Identical port threads do not establish interchangeable tube sizes. Confirm whether the fitting accepts 1.6 mm tubing or 1/16 in tubing, which is 1.5875 mm, within its permitted tolerances.

No 2D Drawing

Frequently Asked Questions

PEEK is common in analytical systems, but these sizes still require model-specific pressure, temperature and connection data. The material name alone does not qualify the assembly.

The current list contains only 0.2 and 0.8 mm IDs with their matching ODs. Other sizes require confirmation.

No. Certain strong acids can attack PEEK, and some solvents may cause tubing to swell. Review composition, concentration, temperature and pressure for the application.

A smaller ID reduces internal volume but may increase pressure drop. Select around length, viscosity, flow and the analytical task. Internal volume is not automatically dead volume.

Check the dimensions and tolerances accepted by the fitting manufacturer. A 1/16 in diameter is 1.5875 mm; approximate dimensions do not establish interchangeability.
