Black PTFE Retaining-Ring Tubing Assembly
FOREACH black PTFE retaining-ring tubing assemblies combine black PTFE tubing, threaded fittings, retaining sleeves and sealing washers for reagent lines requiring light shielding in in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) and automated analytical instruments. Reference tubing IDs span 0.8–2.0 mm, with ODs of 1.6, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.2 mm. Select finished length and end connections using specified ID/OD pairs.
Select a PEEK 6-40 UNF configuration for 1.6 mm OD tubing or HSF6 with M6×1 or 1/4-28 UNF threads. Match the retaining-ring kit to the tubing and port. Evaluate shielding requirements together with reagent-sensitive wavelengths and tube-end connections. Stop tubes and text labels can support routing and line identification. Samples to drawing and batch assembly are supported. Confirm working pressure and temperature for the specific dimensions, ports and complete assembly.
FOREACH holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management system certifications.
Typical Applications:
Reagent lines requiring light shielding, Black PTFE retaining-ring connections, Instrument port integration, Identified fluid-path assembly

Black PTFE Retaining-Ring Tubing Applications & Customization
Equipment development, assembly to drawing, sample development and batch production are supported.
Instrument fluid-path integration
Assemblies for in-vitro diagnostic and automated analytical instruments are selected against the actual reagent, cleaning fluid and connection requirements.
Black PTFE and light shielding
For instrument fluid paths with light-shielding requirements. Provide reagent-sensitive wavelengths, shielding criteria and installation conditions to evaluate the tubing and complete connections.
Assembly drawings and dimensions
Provide tube ID/OD, finished length and tolerance, length measurement datum, A/B port drawings, fitting materials, threads and installation space. Show stop and label positions and dimensions on the assembly drawing.
Fluids, pressure and temperature
Specify the working fluid, concentration, cleaning fluid, contact time, pressure, temperature and inspection requirements to confirm wetted materials and the complete assembly.
Installation and mating ports
Install the sleeve and sealing washer in the specified sequence and orientation using the designated tools. Confirm tube OD, retaining-ring kit and port as a matched connection.
Quality documents and delivery
FOREACH holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management system certifications. Applicable REACH and RoHS reports and material safety data sheets (MSDS) can be supplied for relevant connection components according to material and model. Dimensional inspection, seal testing, identification and packaging requirements for samples and batches are agreed for each project.
