FEP Retaining-Ring Tubing Assembly
FOREACH FEP retaining-ring tubing assemblies combine transparent FEP tubing, matching fittings, retaining sleeves and sealing washers for reagent, cleaning-fluid and internal instrument connections in in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) and automated analytical instruments. Available tubing IDs span 0.3–2.0 mm, with ODs of 1.6, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.2 mm in specified pairs. Tube length and A/B end connections can be specified.
The retaining sleeve and sealing washer secure and seal the tube end. The 6-40 UNF configuration uses a PEEK fitting for 1.6 mm OD tubing; HSF6 provides M6×1 and 1/4-28 UNF threads with tube OD selected by model. SUS and PEEK sleeve and washer components are matched by model. Stop tubes and identification can be specified. Equipment development, samples to drawing and batch assembly are supported. Confirm working pressure and temperature for the specific dimensions, ports and complete assembly.

Instrument fluid-path integration
Assemblies for in-vitro diagnostic and automated analytical instruments are selected against the actual reagent, cleaning fluid and connection requirements.
FEP tubing and custom length
Transparent FEP tubing can connect reagent, cleaning-fluid and sample-related fluid paths in instruments. Where liquid or bubble visibility is needed, assess visibility using the actual tube wall and sample.
Assembly drawings and dimensions
Provide tube ID/OD, finished length and tolerance, length measurement datum, A/B port drawings, fitting materials, threads and installation space. Show stop and label positions and dimensions on the assembly drawing.
Fluids, pressure and temperature
Specify the working fluid, concentration, cleaning fluid, contact time, pressure, temperature and inspection requirements to confirm wetted materials and the complete assembly.
Installation and mating ports
Install the sleeve and sealing washer in the specified sequence and orientation using the designated tools. Confirm tube OD, retaining-ring kit and port as a matched connection.
Quality documents and delivery
FOREACH holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management system certifications. Applicable REACH and RoHS reports and material safety data sheets (MSDS) can be supplied for relevant connection components according to material and model. Dimensional inspection, seal testing, identification and packaging requirements for samples and batches are agreed for each project.
