FOREACH 30 mm stroke single-channel syringe pump with solenoid valves, compatible with 50 μL–5 mL glass syringes for metered reagent dispensing and sample dilution
FOREACH HMD3 is a single-channel syringe pump with a 30 mm stroke and solenoid valves. It integrates glass-syringe metering with fluid-path switching and accepts 50 μL–5 mL glass syringes for reagent dispensing, sample dilution and buffer dispensing in automated analytical instruments. Solenoid-valve configurations and connections can be customized for aspiration, delivery and washing paths.
HMD3 aspirates and dispenses measured volumes through the syringe while solenoid valves switch between supply and delivery paths. It suits modules using a single metering channel for repeated dispensing. RS-232, RS-485 and CAN communication options support integration into IVD analyzers, laboratory instruments and automated liquid handling equipment. Select the configuration according to dispense volume, refill frequency, cycle time and installation space.
Typical Applications:
Reagent dispensing, Sample dilution, Buffer dispensing

Typical Applications
30 mm stroke single-channel syringe pump with solenoid valves, compatible with 50 μL–5 mL glass syringes for metered reagent dispensing and sample dilution
Reagent dispensing
For repeated reagent addition, the syringe aspirates from the reagent source and dispenses through the selected outlet. Include bottle changes, priming, refilling and needle-end droplets in the cycle, and verify the volume actually delivered to the receiving vessel.
Sample dilution
For sample preparation, add a defined diluent volume to a known sample volume. The final dilution depends on both volumes and subsequent mixing. Validate the working stroke with the actual liquid and program aspiration, dispensing and mixing as separate system operations.
Buffer dispensing
For repeated buffer delivery, plan the batch volume and refill interval together. Include valve switching and refill time in the equipment cycle. If the downstream process cannot tolerate interruptions, assess an alternating supply or buffer arrangement.
Configuration information
Define the minimum and maximum dispense volumes, total batch volume and acceptable refill time before selecting a compatible syringe. Syringe capacity is not the minimum reliable dispense volume. Validate small-volume delivery with the actual liquid, needle, tubing and backpressure.
Syringe pump selection should consider the required dispense volume, accuracy and repeatability, together with the number of metering channels, fluid paths and dispensing cycle time. Wetted-material compatibility, installation space and communication interfaces should also be evaluated. Metering channels refer to the syringe-metering units, while valve configurations determine how fluid paths are switched; each should be selected to suit the dispensing and fluid-routing requirements. RS-232, RS-485 and CAN communication options support instrument-controlled aspiration, dispensing and valve switching.
