Where field sampling and transfer occur
Configure sampling and transfer for sampling location, water level, suction or delivery lift and transfer distance. Assess settling, hold-up and mixing, measure sample refresh time, and specify permitted pretreatment to the analytical unit.
Internal tubing volume divided by average flow only estimates nominal delay. Retention, settling or mixing can change actual renewal time; validate it at the analytical interface.
Product responsibilities in this operation
Diaphragm pumps perform suitable liquid supply or aerated aspiration in this task. Confirm inlet phase, branch location and outlet destination separately, then check each branch's operating point.
Compare DPL30, DPL60 and DPL30H by actual supply load. Wash-head, valve, tubing and container resistance jointly determine installed flow; check the supply window and receiving position together.
For online water sampling, confirm analyte, sampling interval, renewal of retained liquid, discard budget and permitted pretreatment.
Organize the sequence by actual architecture
- Confirm sampling location, actual water level, suction/delivery lift, distance and analyte. Identify method-permitted pretreatment and the analytical receiving interface.
- Sample and transport actual water under particle and medium conditions permitted by the specific configuration. Observe settling, old-sample mixing and installed transport volume.
- Measure actual sample renewal at the analytical interface and compare target constituents at the source and destination. Tube volume divided by flow does not replace this validation.
- After maintenance or water-level changes, recheck sealing, transport and renewal, then confirm first-cycle data validity according to the method.
Define operating conditions for this task
| To define | Details |
|---|---|
| Actual operating conditions | Analyte, sampling interval, renewal of stagnant sections, discard-volume budget and permitted pretreatment |
| Acceptance target | Measure renewal time at the analytical or receiving interface and assess target representativeness using paired samples |
| Fault localization | Old-sample mixing, settling, adsorption or insufficient renewal time can make the sample unrepresentative of its source. |
Compare product configurations by the roles on this page
| Product | Configuration option | Conditions to verify |
|---|---|---|
| DPL30 liquid diaphragm pump | Liquid supply or auxiliary circulation | Select by installed resistance, actual wash or working fluid and task window |
| DPL60 liquid diaphragm pump | Liquid supply or auxiliary circulation | Judge by peak demand and installed operating point, not free flow alone |
| DPL30H high-backpressure liquid diaphragm pump | Liquid branches requiring higher backpressure capability | Calculate pressure budget and actual flow first, then confirm interfaces and materials |
Validate operation results at the receiver
Measure renewal time at the analytical or receiving interface and assess target representativeness using paired samples.
Compare field and received samples for representativeness. Measure actual refresh and recovery after maintenance.
Locate abnormalities and restore the next operation
Old-sample mixing, settling, adsorption or insufficient refresh time may make the received sample differ from its source.
Review actual results of affected steps before resuming the next action.
Nominal volume divided by flow estimates transport time; it does not establish complete sample renewal or representativeness.
