What should be checked before starting a liquid diaphragm pump?

Mount the pump using its specified fixing points, connect the inlet and outlet correctly and verify the electrical configuration before startup. The short installation video illustrates mounting approaches; the selected model drawing determines the actual dimensions and fastening requirements.

  • Mounting and clearance
Locate the permitted fixing faces and leave room for tubing, cable routing and service access. Do not force an uneven motor housing against a flat plate or use an assumed screw length.

  • Inlet and outlet connections
Follow the flow markings and match the tube to the specified port. Support the tubing to prevent bending loads, keep the inlet path appropriately sealed and avoid sharp restrictions close to the pump.

  • Controlled startup
Check voltage and polarity, supply the intended liquid and observe priming, flow and leakage. Compare operation with the specified pressure and duty cycle before starting the normal instrument sequence.
