Place the component in the complete analytical fluid path
Draw the liquid path for prime, normal operation, wash, idle and recovery. Mark which liquid contacts each part and where volume, concentration, pressure or detector response will be accepted.
Select by operating duty rather than a family name
| Configuration | Best starting duty | Boundary to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| DPL30 | 300 mL/min-class free-flow reference, 100 kPa rated pressure | Compact wash, transfer and replenishment |
| DPL60 | 600 mL/min-class free-flow reference, 100 kPa rated pressure | Shorter exchange or larger auxiliary volumes |
| DPL30H | 300 mL/min-class platform with 600 kPa rated pressure | Higher-resistance liquid paths; compare actual curve |
| DPGL800 | Gas and gas-liquid aspiration | Waste containing air; not a 100% liquid-transfer substitute |
Continue with the application task that matches the liquid movement
Each task guide uses a concrete liquid path, calculation, abnormal-condition table and receiving-position acceptance plan. Choose by what the instrument must accomplish, not by a broad market label.
Provide the inputs that change the configuration
| Input | Provide | Why it changes the design |
|---|---|---|
| Installed duty | Volume, allowed time, line resistance, elevation and reservoir level | Locates the required operating point |
| Fluid state | Liquid only, intermittent air, foam or vacuum-over-liquid | Selects liquid versus gas-liquid architecture |
| Duty cycle | Run time, starts per hour, ambient temperature and service life target | Selects motor and thermal margin |
FOREACH can use these inputs to match the product configuration, wetted materials, interfaces and control arrangement. The instrument developer remains responsible for method limits, safety logic and qualification of the complete analyzer.
Verify the result after priming, idle time and a realistic fault
- Record the installed configuration and actual liquid, not only the component model.
- Measure steady operation and the first cycle after priming, planned idle and liquid replacement.
- Challenge the relevant abnormal condition: air entry, restriction, low level, blocked outlet or incomplete wash.
- Accept the result at the receiving vessel, detector or cleaned surface; retain the component-level signal for diagnosis.
